After stealing sensitive documents from a powerful mob boss, Fred (Christopher Lambert) flees into the labyrinthine tunnels of the Paris Métro. Hidden beneath the city, he encounters an eccentric underground community while attempting to blackmail the mob boss’s wife, Héléna (Isabelle Adjani), into paying for the return of the documents.
 
As Fred and Héléna grow closer, the strange subterranean world begins to close in around them. With both the police and the mob hunting him down, Fred’s desperate gamble threatens to spiral into chaos.
