Set in late-1980s Lebanon, the film follows Khalil as he returns to Beirut under a new identity after faking his death years earlier. Reconnecting with former friends and comrades, he is forced to confront both personal history and the unspoken realities that surround a city shaped by war.
 
Moving between past and present, Phantom Beirut explores collective amnesia and the quiet erasure of lived experience, offering a restrained and introspective portrait of life in the shadow of conflict.
