Intensive Care Blu-ray resurrects a forgotten European slasher with a new 2K restoration from Vinegar Syndrome Labs. Directed by Dorna X. van Rouveroy, the first woman to direct a Dutch horror film, this early 1990s shocker blends classic slasher structure with gruesome kills and tense suburban terror.
 
Before he could continue his controversial neurological experiments on comatose patients, the reckless surgeon Dr. Bruckner is left gravely injured in a fiery crash with a gasoline truck. After being brought back to his own hospital, he remains in a coma for seven years.
 
On New Year’s Eve, Bruckner suddenly awakens, consumed by rage and ready for vengeance. After slaughtering hospital staff in a brutal rampage, the disfigured doctor pursues a young orderly named Peter into a quiet suburban neighbourhood. As the body count rises, Peter, his neighbour, and her younger brother must fight to survive the wrath of a relentless killer.
