Set in a nuclear-scarred wasteland, a wandering “Zone Tripper” brings home a battered cyborg skull as a gift for his metal-sculptor girlfriend. But the scrap heap relic contains the brain of the M.A.R.K. 13, a ruthless military combat droid capable of reassembling itself piece by piece. As the machine regenerates inside their apartment, the night becomes a claustrophobic siege of steel, flesh and fire.
