Also known as The Corpse, this unsettling domestic nightmare stars Michael Gough in a disturbingly sinister performance as Walter Eastwood, a domineering husband and father whose cruelty poisons the lives of everyone around him.
 
Walter rules his household through fear, tormenting his wife and daughter with relentless control and intimidation. After one act of violence too many, his wife reaches a desperate conclusion: the only way to end their suffering is for Walter to die. What follows is a taut, bleak and claustrophobic horror story driven by family trauma, psychological tension and the film’s stripped-down vérité style.
 
Featuring strong performances from Sharon Gurney and BAFTA-winner Yvonne Mitchell, along with an unsettling score by John Hotchkis, Crucible of Horror arrives in this Limited Collector’s Edition with new artwork, limited packaging and newly produced bonus features.
