From Sweden’s number one centerfold girl to a cult figure admired by filmmakers such as Quentin Tarantino, Christina Lindberg’s career spanned roughly twenty films during the 1970s before she stepped away from acting to become a journalist. Today, her work is being rediscovered, restored, and celebrated worldwide. This extended director’s cut documentary, created by award-winning filmmakers Jane Magnusson and Ika Johannesson, traces Lindberg’s life, legacy, and lasting cultural impact, including a visit to the set of the unfinished film Cry for Revenge.
 
Originally broadcast on Swedish national television as a 58-minute program, the documentary has been expanded by its directors into a more comprehensive 72-minute version for this release. Issued by Klubb Super 8, a long-running Swedish film archive and distributor dedicated to exploitation and cult cinema, this edition reflects decades of preservation and research into the genre.
