After a tragic car accident in 1947 claims the life of a young woman, her vengeful spirit lies dormant for decades. Thirty years later, her brother returns to their childhood home with his emotionally unstable wife and young daughter Cathy, who soon becomes the vessel for a malevolent force. What follows is a descent into creepy séances, demonic dolls, and sustained emotional cruelty, driven by disturbing performances and an atmosphere that never settles into comfort. Once dismissed upon release, Cathy’s Curse has since been reclaimed as a singular cult oddity within North American horror cinema.
 
Both versions of the film have been newly scanned in 4K from recently discovered original negatives, resulting in a major visual upgrade and the most complete presentation of the film ever assembled, accompanied by over two hours of archival and contextual special features.
