Intelligent, withdrawn, and increasingly volatile, Ryan offers Barret protection and companionship—but his philosophical musings soon give way to darker, more violent ideologies. When Barret attempts to reconcile with the classmates Ryan despises, their bond fractures, forcing Barret into a desperate struggle to escape Ryan’s spiral of hatred and destruction.
