After a mysterious contaminant enters the water supply, men across society are transformed into violent, misogynistic killers. As civilization rapidly collapses into chaos, Phil O’Ginny and his companion Misandra find themselves fighting back against the increasingly grotesque effects of the contamination.
 
Produced independently in Richmond, Virginia with local artists and Virginia Commonwealth University students, The Taint embraces guerrilla filmmaking and exaggerated 1980s-style horror comedy while satirizing violence, misogyny and exploitation entertainment.
