The Mondo Weirdo / Vampiros Sexos Blu-ray DVD CD limited edition presents two of the most extreme and unclassifiable works of European underground cinema from cult provocateur Carl Andersen. Often described as a more surreal, erotic, and confrontational European counterpart to the Cinema of Transgression movement, Andersen’s films push punk nihilism, sexual provocation, and experimental form to their outer limits.

MONDO WEIRDO: A TRIP TO PARANOIA PARADISE (aka Jungfrau im Abgrund) plunges into an anarchic subterranean world where vampires, punk outsiders, splatter violence, and dark comedy collide to the hypnotic electro-noise score of Model D’oo. Dedicated to Jess Franco and Jean-Luc Godard and featuring Franco’s daughter, the film was shot on 16mm and is presented here in a new high-definition transfer.

VAMPIROS SEXOS (aka I Was a Teenage Zabbadoing…) is Andersen’s debut and one of the strangest underground films ever made — a punk-fueled erotic vampire nightmare that blends trash aesthetics with no-wave music and radical DIY filmmaking. Cult Epics presents the only surviving SD version of the film. Also included is the cut-up trance short WHAT’S SO DIRTY ABOUT IT?, a nihilistic audiovisual assault evoking Throbbing Gristle and Kenneth Anger.

This strictly limited 3-disc edition of 2,000 numbered copies includes Blu-ray, DVD, and an exclusive CD soundtrack featuring music by Model D’oo with bonus unreleased tracks.
