After discovering a mysterious spacecraft containing three apparently human beings in suspended animation, a space shuttle crew brings them back to Earth for examination. Scientists soon discover that the visitors are a race of extraterrestrial vampires that drain their victims of life-force rather than blood.

When the creatures escape and London descends into chaos, the shuttle mission’s sole survivor may be the only person capable of stopping them. Based on Colin Wilson’s novel The Space Vampires and co-written by Dan O’Bannon, Lifeforce combines science fiction, horror and large-scale apocalyptic spectacle.
