Last Cannibal World 4K Ultra HD marks the North American UHD premiere of Ruggero Deodato’s first and most ferocious entry in his unofficial cannibal trilogy. Released prior to Cannibal Holocaust, this brutal jungle survival shocker set a new benchmark for graphic intensity and nihilistic violence within Italian exploitation cinema.

After a plane crash deep in the jungle, a group of survivors find themselves hunted by a primitive tribe with a taste for cruelty and ritualistic torment. Starring Massimo Foschi, Ivan Rassimov, and Me Me Lai, the film strips survival horror down to its most merciless elements, blending relentless brutality with Deodato’s sharp sense of pacing and atmosphere. Also known under alternate titles including Jungle Holocaust and Cannibal, the film remains one of the most uncompromising examples of the genre.

Newly scanned in 4K from the original negative, this edition presents the film in its most complete and visceral form, accompanied by over two and a half hours of special features exploring its production, legacy, and place within the cannibal film cycle.
