Jesus Christ Superstar 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray presents Norman Jewison’s acclaimed screen adaptation of the rock opera by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber in a new HDR/Dolby Vision master from a 4K scan of the original 35mm camera negative.

Filmed on location in Israel, the film follows the final weeks of Jesus Christ through a series of songs that explore faith, loyalty, celebrity, betrayal and political tension. Ted Neeley stars as Jesus in a production built around the music and lyrics of Rice and Lloyd Webber’s landmark stage work.

This two-disc edition includes the film on both 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray, a newly created 2026 audio mix, multiple commentaries, an interview with Tim Rice and a newly mastered theatrical trailer.
