Two filmmakers hire a sex worker as the subject of a project intended to explore her life and experiences. As filming continues, however, the director increasingly loses sight of the boundaries between documentary, exploitation and his own destructive impulses.
 
The situation becomes progressively more dangerous as control begins shifting between filmmaker and subject, turning the production into a disturbing confrontation with power, fantasy and manipulation.
