Police inspector Peter Glebsky arrives at a remote mountain lodge named The Dead Mountaineer’s Hotel, only to find himself trapped by avalanche alongside an increasingly suspicious group of guests. Among them: a tubercular gangster, an eccentric physicist, a cryptic hotel owner, and a mysterious beauty—plus a loyal St. Bernard. As tensions rise and identities fracture, the film spirals into hall-of-mirrors intrigue against a gleaming chrome-and-marble interior that feels lifted from a 1970s Italian thriller.
