In 1987, Mel Brooks turned his satirical eye toward the biggest space operas of the era, delivering a riotous parody of Star Wars, Star Trek and every intergalactic adventure in between. When the villainous Dark Helmet (Rick Moranis) plots to steal the air supply of the peaceful planet Druidia, it falls to roguish space pilot Lone Starr (Bill Pullman), his loyal half-man half-dog companion Barf (John Candy) and the rebellious Princess Vespa (Daphne Zuniga) to stop him.
 
Filled with iconic jokes, absurd visual gags and endlessly quotable lines, Spaceballs remains one of the most beloved comedy parodies ever made and a defining entry in Mel Brooks’ legendary filmography.
