Scream Of My Blood: A Gogol Bordello Story Blu-ray captures the immigrant punk spirit of Gogol Bordello through the life, music and story of frontman Eugene Hütz. Blending never-before-seen archival footage, intimate interviews and explosive live performances, this high-energy documentary traces the rise of one of the most fiercely original bands in modern punk.
 
Born in Ukraine to a family with Romani roots, Hütz fled his homeland as a refugee after the Chernobyl disaster before eventually arriving in New York City. There, he helped build Gogol Bordello: a genre-defying collective of immigrants whose fusion of punk rock, folk traditions and global rhythms became a rallying cry for outsiders, misfits and anyone caught between cultures.
 
From downtown street performances to stages around the world, Scream Of My Blood follows the band’s evolution while exploring identity, belonging, cultural pride and creative resistance. As Hütz is drawn back toward Ukraine during wartime, the film becomes both a personal journey and a larger tribute to the immigrant experience, celebrating the defiant, borderless spirit at the heart of Gogol Bordello’s music.
