UK import. UHD disc is region free; Blu-ray disc is region B and requires a region-free or region B Blu-ray player.

Risky Business 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray UK import presents Paul Brickman’s sly satire of Reagan-era ambition in a director-approved 4K edition from the Criterion Collection. Tom Cruise delivers his star-making performance as Joel Goodson, a Chicago prep-school senior whose carefully mapped-out future derails when his parents leave town—and temptation arrives at the front door.

What begins as a reckless week of indulgence spirals into a sharp-edged critique of capitalist aspiration, wrapped in moody neon visuals and Tangerine Dream’s pulsating synth score. While Cruise’s hallway dance became an indelible pop-culture image, it’s the film’s blend of romantic melancholy and subversive wit that continues to resonate.
