In the near future, industrial spies Fox and X work for corporations to poach elite scientific minds from rival companies. When tasked with relocating Hiroshi, a brilliant researcher, they recruit Sandii, a mysterious call girl, to lure him away. But their plan spirals into a lethal web of seduction, betrayal, and shifting allegiances as each player becomes uncertain whom they can trust.
Adapted from William Gibson’s short story, New Rose Hotel marks a major stylistic shift in Ferrara’s career, blending noir melancholy with late-’90s cyberpunk atmosphere.
