Ghostkeeper Blu-ray resurrects one of the most chilling and enduring entries in Canadian tax-shelter horror. Set during a New Year’s Eve snowmobiling trip gone disastrously wrong, the film follows three friends who seek refuge in an isolated, abandoned hotel deep in the winter wilderness. What begins as a search for shelter quickly spirals into paranoia and terror when they encounter a hostile family and a mysterious creature that feeds on human flesh. As isolation tightens its grip, reality fractures and survival becomes uncertain.
 
Directed by James Makichuk and featuring an eerie, atmospheric score by Paul Zaza, Ghostkeeper has long been regarded as the Canadian answer to Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining. Equal parts slasher and psychological descent, the film stands as a Canuxploitation classic and a defining highlight of Canada’s tax-shelter era. This edition is released by Canadian International Pictures, a label devoted to restoring and celebrating overlooked milestones of Canadian cinema.
 
This special limited edition Blu-ray includes a spot gloss slipcover designed by Tony Stella and is strictly limited to 2,000 units.
