Female Prisoner Scorpion: The Complete Collection Blu-ray gathers all four films in the legendary exploitation saga starring Meiko Kaji in her defining role as Nami Matsushima — the vengeful, near-mythic “Scorpion.” Presented in brand new 2K restorations, this four-disc Arrow Video box set captures one of the most visually striking and politically charged revenge series of the 1970s.

Beginning with Female Prisoner #701: Scorpion, Nami is a betrayed young woman unjustly imprisoned who transforms into an implacable force of retribution. Jailhouse 41 reunites director Shunya Ito and Kaji for a bold, avant-garde prison break odyssey. Beast Stable pushes the series into gothic, nightmarish territory as Nami becomes a hunted fugitive. The final chapter, Grudge Song, directed by Yasuharu Hasebe, reveals a more reflective side of Scorpion amid the wreckage of radical politics and state violence.

Blending pop-art stylization, feminist fury and grindhouse intensity, the Female Prisoner Scorpion series stands alongside the greatest female-led revenge films of its era.
