Daiei Gothic Japanese Ghost Stories Vol 2 LE Blu-ray presents three chilling tales from Japan’s golden age of supernatural cinema, newly restored in 4K and brought together in a lavish limited edition box set.

This haunting collection showcases the eerie craftsmanship of Daiei’s genre masters, blending folklore, vengeance, and the supernatural with rich period atmosphere and striking visual style.

In The Demon of Mount Oe, a group of warriors sets out to destroy a feared demon terrorising Kyoto, only to discover a far more complex and human truth behind the legend. The Haunted Castle follows a murdered monk’s sister who transfers her rage into a black cat, unleashing chaos within a samurai court. In The Ghost of Kasane Swamp, betrayal and murder give rise to a generational curse that binds two families in tragedy.

Together, these three films represent some of the most atmospheric and enduring works in classic Japanese ghost cinema.
